The children in K. and
1st grades continued practicing cutting round shapes.
This time they
cut “leaves” for the “fall tree”. They traced their hands to make leaves and
then cut them out.
The second grade made an exercise of creating an abstract
piece in pairs. Kids took turns in drawing on the same piece of paper. The
purpose of the exercise was to reintroduce kids to each other and to the art
class in a fun way.
The older kids (5,6 grade) continued exploring the ways to
make a poster. While at it interesting discussions took place: what Judaic
symbols mean to a person , what it is to be a Jew, what technology does, what
would make the parents happier, what would a dream vacation
be.
